The Game of Life is the most talked about and most downloaded Facebook application on the planet. If you are a hardcore gamer or simply love strategy games, then you will love the Game of Life. It is a game so hard to describe that it deserves a full article itself! What can you say about this addictive Facebook game that only a hardcore gamer would ever know?
To start with, you need to create your own account and become an active member of the community. The first task you face is to create your own game. Your life has just been turned upside down and it is all because you have forgotten your password. A strange, yet familiar, voice asks you to ‘make your move now’. You try your level best not to roll the eyes, but the game has already started. In a split of a second you are transported to the land of Gloom where you will find the evil Lord Not Settled.
He is the King of Gloom and he has decided to rule all of Gloom by using his new army of zombie soldiers. If you want to escape his grip, you will have to find out where the exits are. Your mission is to locate the five key chests that contain valuable items such as the Gem of True Sight and the Staff of Truth. Once you have collected all the chests you will be able to access the battle arena and fight him in order to retrieve the gem and the staff. If you fail, you will be forced to restart from the last checkpoint.
The graphics are very nice and well animated. When you die in the battle you are shown an icon with a skull and crossbones. This is your emblem and it changes every time you die. There is also the option to purchase upgrades for your character that will make you even stronger. That means you won’t have to play the same character to level up.
The story is about a boy named Joe who finds himself trapped in the middle of an ancient war. There are demons in the world and they are after Joe. You must save your family and Joe as well as the villagers and eventually find the way out of the maze. The game has many puzzles to solve and you will be making them as you go. The puzzles themselves are not very hard but they can be very time consuming. The combat can be quite challenging but it is always worth it when you are finally defeated.
I really enjoyed playing this game. It makes me think about what my life would be like if I was still a kid and went through the adventures that the game gives you. The music is also catchy and it fits the story. The game is a little short but it will keep you busy for a long time.
